Big Salt 02:26
Maybe we should paint the city And then we could face the world A wheel can offer you a spoke's view I can hold you like a child Order me a black coffee You already showed your cards Weathers really rolling in now Will you hold me like a child? My thoughts and prayers are so easy I just put them on the web You should see all of them dancing Try to count all of the dead Baby, you've made it in the city Why did you come to this little town? You've seen the planets from your building I want to hold you in my arms My thoughts and prayers are so easy I just put them on the web You should see all of them dancing Try to count all of the dead We made a mess out of the back seat Should we go? Call it a night? I've never met someone as patient Hold me close so can hide My thoughts and prayers are so easy I just put them on the web You should see all of them dancing Try to count all of the dead

“Route like a mountain on wheels” Scatter, chatter I'm all out of brain Silver sensor you’re a senior thinker She’ll push you over, she’ll bend the pain Smoking inside Driving too fast Loosen the grip Tighten the grasp Fucking for fame Nothing beats fame Throw out the books and Flush down the sand Ahead of the sun, I rise Behind the the times, surprise That old headless serpent's spine And certain signs That old high Operation “This is Only the End” Hazy game, lazy King out of cards Make a living, turn a dent to a hole She’ll cage a baby, she’ll make it last Smoking inside Driving too fast Loosen the grip Tighten the grasp Fucking for fame Nothing beats fame Throw out the books and Flush down the sand

Hiding in the sun Light and dark rings of a tree Tell us how long we have Even that’s not the whole story You don’t know what people carry No, you don't know A string caught fish I’m bad with money I'm even worst with wine Oh, and I guess I’m grower older But further from the line You don’t know what people carry No, you don't know And isn't it taxing to have such crystal perception? Wipe your mouth and gun Clean out your memories Trust us, you'll just love it here Until you decide to leave You don’t know what people carry No, you don't know
5.
Ruster 02:26
Scrape your knee, it's a gateway I see you thinking and baby, please don't go I'm walking back to the hotel You're probably thinking you know now Set the stage, it's jetway I'm fucking sick of the flag boys, move along I see myself in the window, screen time Hide away in the woods then soak it in Kerosene, caffeine A ruster, a baracks Under weight of stones To muster, to manage Can't find the tide So professional sounding Your choice, your dime Just stick to the Prodrin Kathleen I've made good on my promise Ships don't sink When throw out the prophets And the paints not dry Blend and bleed in the process Uncross your arms Teach my daughter the logic
6.
Stiff Neck 02:16
We're star-watching all night, stiff necks This months half way over Writing a century old book that someone handed me last night Do you finish the last page or do you throw it away? Just throw it away Stacking the sensory load That someone's me, and I'm alright Where do you finish your drink? When you know that you might sink You look a million years old Like a Floridian toothache How can you find your way home? With a grenade and a hand break Stacking the sensory load The money's gone in just one night Where do you finish your drink? When you know that you might sink I didn't even notice my own resentment I saw it, I guess, as what you owed me Now, the bullet's through the credit card And, it's sad 'cause you don't really know me Stacking the sensory load That someone's me and I'm alright Where do you finish your drink? When you know that you might sink

Outlast us, those standing thin Our time was falling well behind The tins full of tar and easy lessons And I'm bound to the rail again They ask us bright-eyed, and dead "Where were you when the sky burned?" Bear trappers Driftwood and sand Been crawling along all day "I'd really rather not talk about this now" Grow up, glow lighter She walks on her words I won't know Avalon No we don't listen Her sounds, her breath, the depth of her oceans Out lasted, braver when I'm dead I think only of us Takes two forms, Polynesian blessings And I'm bound to the rails again They ask us, but no one spoke "Is this a painting of you?" Born naked, driftwood and sand But I'm stone well before clay "I’d be a fool to turn away or look down" Grow up, glow lighter She walks on her words I won't know Avalon No we don't listen Her sounds, her breath, the depth of her oceans

Unwind 03:46
I found a way to escape Or vanish all together Then April came In a Savannah square Phone in hand Southern oaks and shadows, I was warm There must be fools like us then Following the river though we can swim Another reason I hate the cold Worry not, just drive, my racing mind Try to unwind Chipping dry, red and gray Underneath a moment There was calm I took the keys Through two red lights A different sort of taken, but I was warned There must be fools like us then Following the river though we can swim Another reason I hate the norm Worry not, just coast, my racing mind Try to unwind 1782, bones are good The three of you My light Our lake away, a mountain view Embers echo solstice you and I I know there's fools like us then Following the river though we can swim Another reason, a second heart Worry not, just smile, my racing mind Try to unwind

Indigo child You were sent here to shake up our modern ways, weren't you? Headstrong You're an old soul, Indigo boy Gifted and glowin' Your rebellion A real change-maker, aren't ya? Cosmic You're a hot shot the way you just nurture and blame It must come with it's own darkness Can you feel? Is it constant? Does it ground you? All around you Into the charge The electric life force, temple of blue Have you stillness? You're a secret, my Indigo girl Gritty and brilliant Your dimension: a black endless prison of truth, ain't it? Stoic You're a prism dancing 'round in the dark

Short Novel 02:13
Maybe you were wrong When you told me that you couldn't even see me In the dark, I'm alone Fill the cart, scroll along I'm the art, I'm the season; there's an arch You're the reason All the parts click together There's a thought, yeah Quick division of the guards Inner vision vintage charm Deeper beauty in the odd Temper temper up in arms Baby, I was wrong When I told you that I couldn't even see you In dark just with stars Kill the lights it's a start, yeah Steady buzz of flies, I'm told Go and get your telescope Yellow eyes, and dress coats A pleasant day to drift Maybe you were wrong When you told me that you couldn't even see me In the dark, I'm the art

about

Recorded throughout the second half of 2020, Sensible Antenna's self-titled debut album is the result of an endless dark-mode-scroll through the increasingly bleak socio-political landscape as well as the undisguised wasting away of American - already tepid - civility.

"Set the stage, it's a jetway / I'm f**king sick of the 'flag boys.' Move along!" Tower carps over layered vocals and kerosene drenched fuzzy riffs on the album's single "Ruster."

Through the Covid-ridden-apprehension, the album reveals a careful attention to the song writing process, and in particular a true love for astute word play / delivery. There is real intention. "We're star-watching all night / stiff necks" is less about a dreamy evening cuddled up under the stars, and more about waiting out a global pandemic on the couch watching Netflix movies.

Tower, however, did not Tame-Impala his way through the entire assembly of the album, and aside from a significant land force of guitar pedals, he collaborated closely with Ames, Iowa based super musician Tom Hummer- Hummer offering heavy drums throughout as well as tactical mixing and mastering.
